say about the nothing phone one nothing haha video over but the truth is I’ve been using this one for about a week and I actually have a lot to say let’s start by getting it opened up Oh right. the ergonomics is pretty much going. to come down to whether you love or hate the ergonomics of an iphone Max notice any similarities ladies and gentlemen nearly identical dimensions even down to the thickness to the point where I was coming back from lunch with Jake, who happens to have an iphone 13 pro Max and he’s like wow it feels so similar. I should take off my case and we should put it on the nothing phone it fits like a glove obviously you’re not going to have the same. You know positions for the volume Rocker and the lock button so you wouldn’t actually want to use this you know your top microphone for noise Cancellation is not gonna be exposed but the freaking thing actually fits like it doesn’t you know you gotta you gotta work to get it up there. Pro Max But Im Also Not A Fan

of the software, so let’s talk about what nothing has done to make their android skin stand out from the crowd. First of all you’ve got your fingerprint facial recognition, both of which work well not to mention speedily. I do have one complaint when you interact with a notification while the phone is locked by dragging it down when you drag it back up you’re not prompted for a fingerprint unlock instead you get a pin code then you have to go back. Then you have to go like this, which means that you’re not actually going to open up that notification. You were trying to interact with it’s just little things like that that have irked me.

I Dont Like How Much Space

my quick controls take up up here. I prefer a much higher density interface than what they’ve. Done here other little things they’re in the interface for turning your hotspot on and off. You have to kind of swipe to access it that’s something that I use a lot and I would like to be able to just have be a one touch turn on turn off thing rather than opening up the menu. Overall, it seems like nothing has adopted what at least used to be the oneplus approach to their software where it’s a pretty clean mostly stock android experience and with my personal opinion pretty nice style to it and not a lot of extra that means you won’t find any bloat.

I Havent Removed A Single Stock

app from this phone. You can see there’s just no random crap on here. But it also means that you might not get the same richness of experience that you would expect from other skin makers. And a perfect example of this is screen shotting so let’s take a quick screenshot here and I’m going to go ahead and share this okay that’s a pretty normal looking share interface. Oh My God I Have To Click

a thing before I can crop it then wait what now save copy. I can’t share it directly. I can’t click this to open up my photos app so now all of a sudden. It’s a tedious multi-step process to take a screenshot crop it to whatever you want or draw on it and then to send it to someone. We can compare this to Samsung for contrast.

Nothing Also Has A Similar Scrolling Capture

feature, which is really cool, but here I can draw on it quickly crop it and my share menu is still. It’s definitely a better experience. It was never the smoothness of the interface of the phone.

I prefer to double tap the lock button means that absolutely everyone should. that I’m just saying that it’s a lot quicker than basically anyone else’s way of doing it including Apples okay so I have to lift it up to wake long pressed this no I shouldn’t have to look at the device that should do it, especially since it doesn’t already do anything else you’re not even using it sorry sorry. I got all angry again for a second the haptics of the nothing phone one are outstanding. The iphone actually reminded me of that because up until now.

Apple Was One Of The Only

one to really get haptic Motors right usually one of the first things that I do. When I pick up an android phone is turn off the vibration when I’m typing. But in this case you can even just tell from the sound it has a really nice tight feeling to it it doesn’t feel like. I Can Really Say About It

They’re using a 50-megapixel Sony imx 766 sensor for the main shooter and then their wide is using a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor you’ve got optical and electronic image stabilization on the main and then just electronic image stabilization.
