Hello Robotics They Have A Video On Something Really
really awesome that I’ve been wanting for a long time and this app isn’t app You can actually talk to Alexa through the app Isn’t that like just Awesome that’s so cool so it’s called Roger and um. It’s an app where you can communicate with your friends like a walkie talkie, but they’ve added Alexa to it so that is just really really cool and so let’s I’ll show you it right now let’s let’s see it so right here obviously. I’m on my UK Mini and you can get this on any UK or I think Android device and um it’s actually cool. This is what the app Icon looks like it just like you want to get it and if you do want to get it just click the card as you can see right here and you can get it on your UK or Android device. So right now I’m going to open up the app and let’s see what happens so as you open up the app.
As You Can See.
I have Alexa connected and um to connect your Alexa device All I have to do is it’ll say right here say Alexa by Amazon is that the time sign in to your Amazon account and of course you do have not the Amazon account and I am pretty sure that you have to have an Alexa device. I mean that that’s what makes sense so let’s talk to her let’s see um so basically what you do you. can talk with any of your friends, but this is set up for Alexa.
So Lets Do This Thing So
I have to do is just press this little microphone button Hi and then it sends it up to the Amazon Cloud and then you get something after a couple seconds four minutes like this hi so than that just like awesome and you can do almost anything with your Alexa device except for music and timers and stuff like that so just watch this really quick play some music. Amazon music is not supported for this device and timers not supported. Also you right here set a timer for three minutes. Timers are not currently supported on this device, but other than that you can pretty much do anything like control connected home devices turn off my lights Yep Thank You Alexa and then you could tell her obviously.
To Turn Back On The Lights Turn Back
all my lights and she will turn back on your lights like that and that is just so awesome isn’t it yeah So this is basically just like the echo or the tap itself is on your smart device and literally that is pretty much the coolest thing almost ever and I’ve wanted this for a long time so let’s go back to me sitting down talking and um well. We’ll see what happens with that so just let’s go over there No so honestly. I think that this is just like really really cool and the app is absolute free, so you could talk to her absolutely free if you have an Alexa device and so um that’s awesome and if you like this video.
